Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate requirement for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on a ports and marine project in Hong Kong. At the existing quay structures located at Tsing Yi/Kwai Tsing/Tuen Mun, there will be construction works in relation to civil, structural, geotechnical and marine works. The site works will be subject to tidal effect and need to incorporate with the client’s operation where necessary. We are recruiting self-motivated, proactive and high caliber individuals who will be seconded to work with our private site clients

The successful applicant would be offered a 6-month contract initially and subject to renewal depending on the project’s ongoing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Resident Engineer on project management and contract administration works

  • Site supervision including quality assurance, quality control and site safety supervision

  • Works supervision in accordance with the Buildings Department’s requirements

  • Coordination with the client, design engineer and contractor for the completion of the works

Minimum Requirements

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering

  • Minimum 2 years relevant site supervision and administration experience in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical engineering works
