We provide cost and project management services, and specialist consultancy services, to public- and private-sector clients around the world, with a strong presence in Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
Our Cost Management business unit continues to grow and have successfully secured positions with many high profile clients as a result we are currently recruiting talented and dedicated Quantity Surveying professionals as part of our thriving, multi-disciplinary practice.
The Sr Quantity Surveyor would be responsible for :-
liaise with the client on project costs, formulates detailed cost plan and advises contractors and engineers to ensure that they remain within cost limit;
Preparation of Budgets, Preliminary Cost Estimates and Cost plans at various stages of Projects
Knowledgeable in Pre and Post Contract works including attending meetings
Proficient in handling the Tender process
Administer post contract services
Coordinating with a team of Executive Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors.
Ensuring relevant deadlines are achieved
Managing the quality of work
Check bills of quantities to be used by contractors
Preparing schedules of quantity and contract administration
Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the following
Proficient with computer based quantity surveying and cost management software.
Client facing and confident at all levels.
- A recognized degree in Engineering or its equivalent.
