“As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Centre (GDC) organisation has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services to other parts of AECOM offices around the world. At present, GDC has a core team of 150+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon, India. Further growth is underway to meet the plan of establishing 300+ team size, by the end of FY17, to provide technical services in multi-disciplinary building engineering, Architecture and Structural disciplines. In the initial phases of growth, dedicated teams are formed to cater to the needs of UAE and UK offices of AECOM.
The Project Design Engineer would be responsible for
HVAC design contents as assigned
Preparation and assisting the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents for the design projects.
Participation in design progress and design coordination meetings.
Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on projects.
Coordination with other AECOM Discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design projects.
7+ Rich Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.
Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software.
A minimum 3 years of experience in the international projects and preferably in UK or Middle East
To work for the design of the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality sectors. High rise building experience
Experience in the design of the HVAC (Central cooling plant, chilled water piping distribution, District Cooling Systems, Air duct distribution, variable air volume systems, ventilation, DX systems, VRF, etc.)
Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
Experience in the HVAC software (IES, HAP, Trace and Elite), Navisworks, MEP Revit, Excel, Power Point and Word
Should have led some of the projects independently and aware about other systems requirements
Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability.
Effective communication skills.
Good attention to details
Bachelor's degree of Mechanical Engineering. Experience of working on Sustainable Design with LEEDAP, BREEM or any other equivalent memberships shall be advantageous. Memberships like CEng, ASHRAE, CIBSE shall be desirable. Licensed as a registered engineer
