Job Summary

“As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Center (GDC) organisation has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services to other parts of AECOM offices around the world. At present, GDC has a core team of 150+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon, India. Further growth is underway to meet the plan of establishing 300+ team size, by the end of FY17, to provide technical services in multi-disciplinary building engineering, Architecture and Structural disciplines. In the initial phases of growth, dedicated teams are formed to cater to the needs of UAE and UK offices of AECOM”.

Job Summary :

To work with and support the operations management for ensuring excellence in the operations of GDC by providing support to project teams to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyse progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress. To provide high level management information reports, data driven insights reflecting business performance.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

4+ years of relevant experience in all aspects of project controls/administration/management of large-scale projects within consulting industry (preferable).

Experience in retail, hospitality, high-rise and mixed-use development projects.

Exposure to operating in a highly systems and process driven environment is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understanding and roll out of AECOM tools and technology including that of bid management, engineering/design management, resource management, project delivery and documentation management.

Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS reports and reporting on business performance.

Support preparation of monthly invoices for internal clients, follow up payments and monitor cash flow.

Support Project Managers to prepare monthly Estimate At Completion (EACs) in Oracle financial system.

Support Project Managers to prepare project budgets.

Prepare project schedules using MS Projects and/or Primavera software.

Support to monitor progress of projects using Earned Value Management technique.

Facilitating learning and improvement from GTS KPIs and project reviews.

Support Project Managers with financial management and ensure that project financials are true and accurate.

Support in the management of time sheet approval process/mechanism.

Support in overall management of resource planning and reporting across various groups.

Progress reporting of the projects that are undertaken in GDC.

Deliver any other analyses/reports as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Must possess a history of proven track record for project control skills such as planning, cost control and documentation management.

Proficient in scheduling software, Primavera and MS Projects. Exposure to any oracle based financial management system/software is preferred.

Ability to understand and implement management systems and provide management information reports.

Strong financial and business modelling skills.

IT savvy (proficient in Microsoft applications especially in Excel).

Good analytical capability and logic driven.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline .
