Job Summary

The AECOM internal recruitment team is currently seeking talented recruitment professionals to be based in our Gurgaon, India office.

Working from our Gurgaon office, the main purpose of this role is to provide a consultative recruitment service to the business. The Talent Acquisition Advisor role requires the incumbent to deliver the highest value in building and enhancing a dynamic recruiting process to include: improving talent quality, expanding external networks and recruiting sources, managing acquisition speed and reducing the cost of recruiting for the business lines.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing extensive breadth of market knowledge and expertise of talent acquisition process and strategies

  • Participating in business meetings to stay updated on what is happening in the market and the business.

  • Working with hiring managers to refine their job descriptions, providing a slate of candidates for open requisitions, consulting on hiring decisions, chairing feedback sessions with Hiring Managers, working on the development of the offer, negotiating the offer with the candidate on behalf of the company and hiring group.

  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies

  • Screening and interviewing candidates for senior roles; creating the candidate funnel on requisitions to provide the hiring manager with a slate of candidates by conducting resume reviews and candidate phone screens

  • Providing interview feedback to both selected and rejected candidates.

  • Arranging interviews; liaising with hiring managers, candidates; booking interviews.

  • Maintain and update tracking documents and provide regular reports and updates to the business

  • Acting as point of contact for employee relations issues; liaising with Human Resources when required

  • Coordinating the mobilisation of employees for both local and overseas hires;, including liaising with appropriate contacts for visa processing when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Post Graduation plus a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, total experience of minimum 8 years. Ideally having handled similar large & diversified recruitment.

  • Sound knowledge of technical/construction recruitment and a track record of timely completion.

  • A flexible and proactive approach.

  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).

  • Experience of using applicant tracking systems MUST.

  • Comfortable communicating with staff and candidates of different levels and nationalities

  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to build credibility with senior level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in Engineering Consulting industry

Prior experience in hiring for Infrastructure projects like - Highways, Railways, Water, Environment, Transit etc.
