About the Business Line

Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM is currently seeking a project management professional in the Greater Golden Horseshoe area. This position will integrate into a well-developed team of environmental engineers and scientists to provide leadership in this well-developed business line. The successful candidate will develop current and new clients and projects, guide and mentor intermediate and entry-level staff, highly focused on client relationships and new client acquisition, and will be strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Build upon existing client projects and relationships and develop new business with major clients in the industry

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise in support of ongoing AECOM environmental investigations and remedial design projects

  • Assist with developing and mentoring the southern Ontario-based team of Engineers, Geologists, Hydrogeologists and/or Scientists

  • Provide leadership for practice area planning and goal setting, working with other senior level staff to provide integrative services for current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local, national and international collaborative opportunities

  • Assist with business development activities and proposal efforts

  • Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants, and external agencies in the industry

  • Supports and drives AECOM quality, project management and performance management systems

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • P. Geo or P. Eng

  • 10+ years experience

  • Project management experience

  • Construction experience, working with design drawings and specifications

  • Managing a project design team

  • Experience with mechanical systems

  • Experience with Water treatment systems

  • Experience working with Quality systems and/or ISO 9001:2008

  • Experience working with CNL or in the nuclear industry
