AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Supply Technician to provide a variety of logistics tasks such as supply support, configuration management, and data management in support of components, equipment, and/or systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

1.Review drawings. Research databases to determine technical documentation requirements; reliability, maintainability, and availability; life cycle impacts; source issues; and configuration impacts.

  1. Perform inventory management, cataloging, warehouse management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations. May assist technicians with equipment installations.

  2. Develop, execute, maintain reviews and comments on logistics support plans, policies, procedures and similar data. Recommend improvements to enhance the process.

  3. Support maintenance planning systems; perform maintenance planning tasks.

  4. Identifies specific procedures or processes that could be modified in order to increase efficiencies or quality.

  5. Demonstrates development and application of new systems, processes, or techniques that contribute to the achievement of business area goals.

  6. Applies knowledge of procedures and systems to a broad range of basic issues. May require knowledge of specialized processes or technical skills.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: HS Diploma or equivalent.

(b) SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Six (6) years full-time experience in submarine fleet logistics support including experience in the fleet introduction, installation, test, operation, and life cycle support of submarine mechanical/electronic systems/equipment. Experience in evaluating the material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective action; and

(1) Four years on-board submarine supply experience; and

(2) Submarine CASREP requisition; and

(3) Submarine Inventory Management; and

(4) Navy procurement and provisioning procedures

(c) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years full-time experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas. This experience shall include each of the following Navy ILS components listed below in support of a major forward electronic system:

(1) DOD and/or Navy Supply Support Systems

(2) COMSUBLANT/COMSUBPAC supply support directives, standards, and documentation

(3) Afloat supply procedures

(4) Navy Supply System organizations

(5) R-Supply OMMS-NG supply procedures and operations

(6) Maintenance Planning

(7) Test equipment support

(8) Technical logistical data

(9) Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation

(10) Configuration Management

(11) Ability to pass and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
