Position Title Senior Consultant Technical Director

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant Technical Director for employment in the Greenville SC office. This is a part-time position.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Senior Consultant and technical advisor in the area of radioactive risk analysis
Project Manager and Business Development lead for the development of a practice area marketing professional services for RADTRAN, transportation risk analysis, spent fuel processing and storage, and other related areas.
Train and mentor junior and mid-level staff in the use of RADTRAN and other related areas
Develop and promote AECOM as a leader in the radiation risk assessment and safety
Master's degree in relevant scientific discipline (e.g., environmental science, soil science, agriculture, geology or any scientific related field)
15+ years of experience of which 7 are in a management role
Excellent written and oral communication skills as demonstrated through technical publications and presentations in the field of radiation safety and radioactive materials transportation
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency is required
Expertise in the following technical areas
RADTRAN 5.5, RADTRAN 6, RADCAT
Transportation Radioactive Risk Analysis
Transportation and storage or radioactive wastes
Low level radioactive waste management
NRC licensing requirements related to radiological risk analysis
Spent fuel processing and storage
Ph.D. in physics/chemistry/nuclear engineering or related field
Individual must have demonstrated ability in marketing and sales in the area of radioactive waste management
