AECOM is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to proactively manage a team of AR Specialists in our Glen Allen, VA-based Global Business Service Center. This individual will join a fast-paced environment, with focus on achieving targets in support of our working capital plan.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee a team of AR Specialists in support of the Americas footprint, inclusive of individual goal-setting, measurement and feedback against such goals and preparation of annual reviews

  • Drive team achievement against regional and company cash targets

  • Manage 3rd party collection agencies to supplement working capital initiatives

  • Support a team of Working Capital Managers and Regional Management in their pursuit of cash goals

  • Develop / prepare and analyze AR-specific metrics while recommending actions based on the data collected

  • Complete external data requests and audits

  • Participate in additional departmental projects as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relevant professional work experience

  • managing direct reports,

  • managing 3rd party collections agencies,

  • developing, preparing and analyzing AR-based metrics

  • Current accounts receivable expertise and knowledge of best practices

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

  • Ability to handle and maintain strict confidentiality of information

  • Motivated self-starter and team player is essential

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and customer service skills

  • Initiative to improve processes

  • Positive attitude

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment

  • Ability to prioritize and perform work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise with Oracle or a similar ERP

  • Experience preferred in a project accounting / management-based setting / industry

  • Experience with managing outsourcing relationships
