About the Business Line
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Geologist for immediate employment in the Glen Allen, VA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Prepare proposals and cost estimates and support business development activities
Prepare technical work plans and reports
Perform environmental data analysis and prepare technical presentations for clients and regulatory agencies
Plan and task manage environmental investigations and groundwater programs
Mentor junior staff in their growth and development by providing technical and regulatory guidance and expertise
Bachelor's degree in geology or hydrogeology
8+ years experience with remedial investigations, feasibility studies, groundwater investigations/monitoring programs, and remedial implementation
Strong communication practices and skills, expecially technical writing
Ability to multitask efficiently
Professional Geologist Registration
OSHA Hazwoper certification (current)
Valid drivers license
US citizenship required
Strong working knowledge of Virginia regulatory programs
Environmental data management using Earthsoft EQuIS
Environmental statistical analysis using ProUCL
Project management experience
