Position Title Lead Carpenter (Middle East)

AECOM has a Lead Carpenter position located in the Middle East. Perform general maintenance and repair of facilities and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program for a journeyman carpenter with eight (8) years of experience in trade and building maintenance
Experience with framing, woodworking, roofing, concrete forms
Eight years of experience in trades and building maintenance
Two years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of state and local building and safety codes
Knowledge of US building and safety codes
Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance programs
Practical knowledge of repairs, installation of floor and ceiling tile, walls (plaster, block, drywall), masonry work, locksmithing, cabinet making, framing, form work and general knowledge of the painting trade.
Must be able to operate small power tools and machinery as required
Must be able to read blueprints and perform material take-offs from prints
Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to interact with all levels of management and with the team
Must be willing to work rotational shifts including days, evenings and nights as well as weekends, holidays and overtime
Possess thorough knowledge of the carpentry trade.
Must be able to operate power tools and machinery as required.
Ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Secret Security Clearance Required.
