About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
As the largest program management firm in the world, AECOM is providing complete Program Management consulting for the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), A GREENFIELD, smart city in the State of Gujarat. Dholera IS THE largest city planned within the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor encompassing an area of 920 sq kms to be built over 30 years. Government of India has made an initial seed capital investment of USD 450 million for development of Trunk Infrastructure. Construction of 22.5 sq kms trunk infrastructure has already commenced at site with a target completion June 2019. This is just the beginning of economic boom in the region. Land monetisation model adopted for development will trigger an investment of OVER USD 6 billion over next 10 years.
AECOM is seeking to hire Document Controller for this project. The qualified individual will have a strong background in Document Control.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Assist in maintaining a uniform filing system and document logs to track the processing of specific control documents.
Assist Project Managers in formatting documents in word, excel, power point
Assist Document Controls Manager in operations of document control system to ensure that general program administrative and individual project documents are properly recorded and maintained and requests for information are transmitted and responded to, and approvals or denial of approvals are recorded and communicated.
Maintains system and procedures to track processing of documents such as correspondence, minutes, reports, payment requests, change notices, change orders, claims, requests for information, submittals, schedules, etc.
Operates computerized system for document control.
Comply with procedures for the baseline, revision and distribution of controlled documents. Other administrative tasks as directed. Follows Quality Assurance Program procedures.
Should have around 7-12 years of experience as a document controller.
Any degree course (Bcom/BA/BSc)
Should have very good working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing (formatting, drafting and such), spreadsheet, and database software is required.
Familiarity with EDMS (Electronic Document Management System) and DMCS (Document and Material Control System)
Administration of the Office Filing System, codes and procedure.
Should be able to read, write and understand English efficiently
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure and accountability for assigned work.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
