Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.
AECOM is seeking a highly talented Civil Engineer for the construction project management of large, complex projects at Ft. Gordon, GA. This is a multiyear program of expansion and renovation. The selectee will work with the US Army Corps of Engineers Ft. Gordon Area Office under the direction of a USACE Resident Engineer.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing and interpreting plans and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and constructability
Field construction inspection and reporting will comprise the majority of the work
Interaction with clients and contractors with professional presentation along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
8+ years of general construction experience with particular emphasis with particular emphasis the project management of military barracks and large industrial facilities
Working knowledge of CADD, Word and Excel along with required and experience with change orders and claims associated with large construction projects
Demonstrated experience generating and reviewing cost estimates and schedules
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license
U.S. Citizenship required
Must be able to acquire and maintain a secret security clearance
