About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanic I AH-64 for a position in Ft. Campbell, KY. Maintains and repairs aircraft components, including but not limited: to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components. Performs scheduled inspections, special inspections, and maintenance checks and services. Applies technical expertise in troubleshooting aircraft systems and subsystems using special tools and test equipment as required. Interprets technical data including technical manuals, maintenance information and action messages, and technical guidance provided through government representatives. Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
Five (5) or more years’ experience in aircraft maintenance on the AH-64 aircraft.
Thorough knowledge of AH-64 mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
Thorough knowledge of Reset schedules and requirements.
Detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc.
Able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
Basic knowledge of the Unit Level Logistics System (ULLS-A).
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
