AECOM is seeking a part-time, temporary Contracts Specialist to provide support to Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Program Manager. Medium and Heavy Tactical Vehicles to prepare contractual documents in support of customer contracting requirements.
Responsibilities may include:
Write Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work/Performance Work Statements.
Coordinates and/or implements contract action requests from customer and project management.
Maintains positive relations and all communications with client Contracting Officers.
Support customer in discussions with MCSC Contracts staff using knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Provide superb customer service to internal/external customers and discuss and explain contractual topics with non-contractual
Perform all other duties/tasks assigned.
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive related contracting experience.
Federal government or Department of Defense contract document development experience required.
Additional related experience may be substituted for education.
Demonstrated understanding of Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price, and Time and Material contracts’ terms and conditions.
Must have a working knowledge of FAR.
Excellent writing and communication skills and strong verbal and interpersonal skills as daily interaction with government customers will be required.
Position may require travel.
Strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail oriented work.
Self-starter who can work well independently with minimal supervision and broad direction.
Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks.
Working knowledge of DCM and DCAA. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Marine Corps and/or tactical vehicles.
May need to be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
