AECOM is currently seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Operations Manager to join our Fort St John Team!
This position, typically reporting to the Area Manager, is accountable for managing budgets, human resources, and maximizing assets to complete current projects and develop new business opportunities in accordance with AECOM Oil & Gas practices and processes within a defined local geographic area in support of the regional and corporate strategic plans.
May include the following responsibilities:
Manage day to day operations, and support a growing team.
Develop and adhere to annual budgets.
Coach and mentor team,to utilize AECOM’s process and procedures
Develop competitive estimates and proposal
Support project team to achieve project objectives within the Construction Execution Manual
Assist with local recruitment
Manage utilization of local operating center equipment.
Develop and seek new business opportunities that will suit and strengthen the operating center.
Provide leadership in the Safety Management System (SMS) within the operating center.
Journeyman Electrical or Instrumentation Certificate
Electrical Engineering diploma or equivalent
Field Safety Representative Certificate (FSR)
Project Management Certificate would be an asset
2-5 years of relevant technical experience
Experience in estimating with McCormick’s would be an asset
Facility construction and maintenance experience
Strong computer skill
Effective verbal and written communication
H2S Alive, Fall Protection and Standard First Aid certification is required
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Primavera, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
