About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Analyst at Fort Polk, LA.
Process procurement action and coordination transportation requirements as needed
Issue purchase orders for all general procurement supplies and services and maintain a purchase order log.
Review all purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy; obtain competitive quotes and document information in procurement files; and document source and price justifications for all procurement actions.
Expedite delivery/performance and maintain document file.
Assist the other Department personnel with Contractor and Subcontract Administration
Promotes the Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Woman-Owned Small Business Program by targeting business opportunities with such companies
Close out completed Procurement files and process them in accordance with Records Retention Procedures.
Maintain functional knowledge and required files of current tariff rules and rates, classifications of freight, Government requirements for the transportation of hazardous materials, and automated freight rates.
May Coordinate with other department in compiling all required documentation relating to claims for recovery of loss with carriers or vendors when applicable and coordinates quality assurance discrepancies.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Procedure Compliance - Each employee must read, understand and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures and policies pertaining to his/her job.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Minimum 3 years of particulary relating to government contracts; and working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet application.
Experience in SAMS, PBUSE, SARS, email SARS and LOGSA a must
GCSS Army experience perfered
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Position may require travel.
