AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary

AECOM is immediately hiring for a Material Coordinator at Fort Polk, La.

Responsible for overall supply operations at work site level including receiving, storage, requisitioning, issue and accountability of all items required in support of work site maintenance effort. Supervised by Site Manager or site Supply Technician.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Oversee receiving operations and ensures that all requirements for inspection and accountability are maintained.

2. Manage all storage operations to include warehouse configurations, locator identification systems, and material handling operations. Must have SAMS, PBUSE and GCSS Army experience.

3. Manage requisitioning of all parts and materials required to support work site maintenance operation.

4. Establish physical inventory procedures and schedules. Inventories are to be conducted in accordance with requirements of applicable task order regulations.

5. Manage all Government Furnished Equipment/Property issue in support of contract.

6. May supervise supply team consisting of Supply Technicians, Supply Clerks, and Shipping and Receiving Clerks

7. Maintain statistical database for all supply transactions in order to measure effectiveness of the supply operation

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • Five (5) years related experience working with U.S. Army combat and tactical equipment preferred.

  • Relevant experience gained in commercial supply position is acceptable.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Army inventory management systems and techniques is preferred.

  • Supervisory experience to include assignment of work, monitoring, and evaluation is preferred.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

  • Must be able to complete one day Hazardous Waste Course.

  • Over time is mandatory if required by the site.
