The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Performs daily field inspections
Maintain inspection records
Participate in preparing punch lists, observing tests, and facility commissioning
Track quality assurance progress
Inspect construction progress, which includes ensuring procedures and materials comply with specifications; observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
Review of contract plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements
Observation of work for compliance with contract documents, reviewing and responding to shop drawing submittals, responding to request for information, clarifications, proposals, and change orders
Assisting with review and reconciliation of construction schedules
Scheduling updates and review of contractor requests for payment
Observe testing and review test results for conformance with technical specifications, confirming quantities for pay applications, and assisting with verification of project completion milestones and contract closeout/commissioning
High School Diploma
5+ years of experience on inspection of public utility infrastructure projects
NICET Level II/III Certification
Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Bachelor's degree in related field
