Job Summary

AECOM is seeking engineers with 10+ years of experience in applying Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to support analysis and process support for legacy and emerging spectrum dependent technologies and project management experience. Position requires understanding of a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, and SATCOM. Responsibilities will include technical review of emerging spectrum technologies, coordination and deconfliction of Navy operations in dense electromagnetic environments, development and review of policies and procedures, and finally coordination both nationally and internationally. Project management responsibilities will include customer interface, hiring, quality control, and personnel management.

· Knowledge of the following software’s and programs: Equipment Location Certification Information Database (EL-CID), the Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Spectrum XXI, HNSWDO, and Stepstone.

· Experience with Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment or standards,

· Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) Certification process

· Spectrum Auctions or the Presidential Broadband Initiative

· JTIDS/MIDS EMC Features Certification

· Link 16 Pulse Deconfliction Server (LPDS)

· DoD Radars, Communication systems, Data Links, or SATCOM

· World Radio Conference Support

· Development of Spectrum related standards and policies

Minimum Requirements

Possess an engineering degree from an accredited university or college, and is preferred to have 10+ years’ experience with applying the principles of the performance of the Radio Frequency Engineering analysis. Requires Secret clearance; Preferred: TS (SCI eligible)
