Position Title Financial/Budget Analyst 4

Job Summary

Provide financial/business lead support in the areas of: project management, procurement, and contract performance measurement including policy interpretation, requirements analysis, planning and administration, cost estimating, contract and subcontract administration, proposal preparation and evaluation, control systems implementation, compliance reviews, performance monitoring, data analysis, risk assessment and status reporting. Analyze contractor performance trends and prepare completion forecasts. Assist in the development of customer correspondence.

  • Execute assigned budget and analyze effects of budgetary actions.

  • Plans work to be accomplished, set priorities, prepares schedules for completion of work, and makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinates.

  • Recommends financial strategies and actions for meeting program requirements.

  • Reviews and analyzes budget requests and justifications submitted by PMs.

  • Monitors and tracks costs, obligations, and work-year limitations for assigned accounts.

Position may require travel.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Economics and at least 7 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Good written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications

  • Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience working with Working Capital Funds

Requires an active Secret Security Clearance.
