Job Summary

FT Services has been acquired by AECOM, a premier, fully integrated global infrastructure firm.

We are currently seeking Journeyman Scaffolders for our CNRL Horizon Project in Northern Alberta.

May include the following responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints

  • Take direct instructions from a supervisor

  • Select materials

  • Plan sequences and methods of work

  • Measure and mark materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions

  • Cut, shape and join materials

  • Check completed units ensure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.

  • Provide safe and secure scaffold access

  • Communicate effectively with both staff and supervision to ensure expectations are met.

  • Design scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and standards

  • Fully competent at assembling, dismantling and modifying scaffolds

  • Prioritize daily work load with managing materials efficiently

Minimum Requirements

Alberta Certified Journeyman Scaffolder or Inter-Provincial Red Seal

  • Construction Safety Training System Ticket (CSTS-09)

  • OSSA Fall Arrest

  • OSSA Confined Space

  • Valid Driver’s license

  • Pass a Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test

  • Complete Online Orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Industrial Maintenance role

  • Experience working and executing maintenance in a live Plant

  • Team Player dedicated to delivering results

  • Personal Commitment to safety

  • Read diagrams, schematic drawings and service manual to determine work procedures
