Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Senior Project Manager for immediate employment. This is a senior management position and is responsible for the coordination of major design build pursuits.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing strategic guidance for the preparation of pre and post construction documents

  • Supervising and coordinating major contractor and client relationships

  • Developing and implementing QA/QC plans to be used for design build projects

  • Supervising the management of design build projects including QA/QC, scheduling, budgets, change orders and RFIs ( Requests for information)

  • Managing and mitigating claims and backcharges

  • Negotiating and managing Master Contracts with major contractors and subcontractors, managing and coordinating work flow between multiple offices

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of experience working in engineering, PM/CM, and construction contracts, with specific experience in design/build (d/b) construction projects, including experience working on Federal construction projects

  • Possess strong leadership qualities and be an effective communicator internally and externally

  • Must possess the ability to lead and execute in the areas of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract management, while demonstrating sound operations experience

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ years of experience working in engineering, PM/CM, and construction contracts, with specific experience in design/build (d/b) construction projects, including experience working on Federal construction projects

  • Working knowledge of FAR requirements
