About the Business Line


We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Operations Specialist for immediate employment near Firebaugh, CA.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing treatment plant operations and maintenance including purchasing of supplies, replacement parts, and chemicals rewquired to operate and maintain the treatment plant

  • Directing operations and maintenance staff

  • Optimizing performance of the treatment system

  • Develop and submit treatment plant performance and technical reports that may include parameters such as water quality, water recovery, operational flows, system pressures, energy consumption, chemical usage, waste generation, waste disposal, etc.

  • Develop an operations plan

  • Support water treatment projects and opportunities

Minimum Requirements

  • ​Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

  • T3 water treatment operator license or higher

  • 10+ years of experience
