About the Business Line
We provide professional services in areas such as aviation, transit, freight rail, highways and bridges, planning, and ports and marine. Our global network of top-tier specialists delivers comprehensive services over the full life cycle of a project to benefit clients in government and private industries.
We have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Engineer with good site experience including surfacing / series 700 type works. The role is for a four night week commencing Monday evening, with shifts from approximately 20:00 to 04:00, finishing early on Friday morning.
The duration of the role will be dependent on progress of the works but will probably run through until March 2017.
Key aspects of the role include:
Verification that works are constructed in accordance with the works information and specification for Highway Works
Preparation of record sheets evidencing night shift operations
Completion of audit sheets detailing activities, observations and any other relevant information.
Provision of; responses to queries raised; contact details of AECOM site office representatives who will provide further details where required.
The successful candidate will:
Be a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with proven design and site experience.
Hold a current driving licence. This is essential as the role will involve driving along the M3 and entering / exiting highway works areas.
Preferred Qualifications Construction related degree.
Advanced degree a plus.
