Position Title Construction Superintendent

The Environmental Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Superintendent for immediate employment in the Syracuse, NY office but must also be willing to support work in the Latham, NY and Rocky Hill, CT areas.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Establish, coordinate and implement construction schedules, manning charts and material and equipment requirements
Responsible for the field manpower organization to ensure the jobsite organization is composed of qualified and knowledgeable personnel, including those of the subcontractors and ensures effective personnel utilization
Control jobsite expenditures in assigned area for labor, equipment, material and services, and ensure field operations are within budget
Use good judgment to be able to adjust to changes in schedule
May manage and direct the work of assistant superintendents
High school diploma
8+ years of industry experience
40 hour OSHA hazmat training
8 hour OSHA supervisor training
10+ years of industry experience
10 hour OSHA construction safety training (30 hr. preferred)
