About the Business Line
Our talented experts are dedicated to managing the complexity inherent in construction projects, catering to each client’s unique needs. We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe.
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Compliance/Certified Payroll Administrator for immediate employment. Position will report to the Dallas, TX office, but will physically be working onsite at the DFW Airport.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Under general direction of the Program Manager:
- Review and verify the accuracy of certified payroll applications received from construction contractors working on federally-funded projects
Additional responsibilities include:
Review each certified payroll application for compliance with prevailing wage requirements
Conduct employee interviews with appropriate contractor personnel
Compare wage rates, job classifications and interview comments with the certified payroll from the same week to determine accuracy and consistency
Identify and record inconsistencies, prepare and issue exception letters to contractor
Prepare required “Payroll Certification Cursory Review Memos”
Maintain certified payroll manpower reports
Administer prime contract and sub consultant agreements, purchase orders and change orders
Monitor/Track DBE payments, cash applications, and DBE commitments, B2GNow audits
Prepare monthly invoices
Assist with monthly Estimates to Complete, project and task numbering, and time reporting
Manage vehicle fleet, including procurement, licensing/permitting, insurance and maintenance
Purchase office and inspector supplies
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
7+ years of experience in a similar role
Thorough understanding of contracts/subcontracts administration and certified payroll certification
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
