AECOM Architectural Group is seeking a highly motivated, creative and talented Project Architect for immediate employment in our Denver, Colorado office. The Project Architect will work collaboratively with the Architectural Design Lead as well as all team members to cultivate design concepts through modeling, drawings, diagrams, maps, data visualization and statistical analyses as part of the process. Project Architect will be expected to be proactive in their initiation, creation and presentation of designs. It is important for the Project Architect be able to engage in design collaborations and effectively communicate with the architectural design team as well as all other engineering design professionals and clients. The Project Architect will need to be able to articulate critical design through conceptual design through construction documents. The Project Architect should demonstrate the ability, confidence, and desire to push the limits of what’s possible while seeking innovative solutions to design problems, providing unique perspectives to the built environment. The Project Architect’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Develop 2D/3D conceptual designs (strong SketchUp & graphic skills skills)
Experience with High Performance Building design
Complete development and management of Construction Documents (SD, DD, CD)
Coordinating design efforts with multi-discipline team members
Work directly with Design Lead Sr. Architects and Project Managers on multiple tasks
Preparing/ contributing to architectural studies
Providing advice and consultation to clients on architectural matters, including compliance with codes and regulations
NAAB Accredited Architecture Bachelor's degree
5+ years of related design experience
Strong design experience
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Rhino/Grasshopper/Dynamo, VRay, 3dsMax, Adobe Creative Design Suite
Experience in developing and prepare design presentations and construction documents for large public and private clients
Strong technical skills related to planning, and architectural design and detailing
Experience coordinating work, civil, structural and MEP disciplines
Field experience with observing construction progress and capable of providing construction administration services
Ability to clearly communicate with Clients and peers
Diversified knowledge of architectural principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields
Valid driver's license
Active in professional societies
US Citizenship preferred
Developing presentation skills
Healthcare, Higher Education and Federal project experience
Strong communication skills
