Job Summary

Following the commencement of the Remote Housing Project rolled out by the Northern Territory Government, requiring support on 180 projects across 69 communities, AECOM’s Program Cost Consultancy team in the Northern Territory has an opportunity for an ambitious and highly driven Project Manager looking to further develop their skills. You will deliver Project Management services directly to clients on local and interstate projects, as well as regionally based projects, enabling you to travel and build relationships with remote-based clients.

As a Project Manager with the world’s #1 ranked engineering design firm, you will be exposed to a range of projects and stakeholders, which will help to expand your Project Management skills and portfolio. Working with a team of highly experienced professionals, you will be given support and guidance enabling you to develop your skills and build your career.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-5 years’ relevant professional experience working on the client-side of project management;

• Experience in civil construction projects – highly regarded;

• Local knowledge of the current market for consulting services – highly regarded;

• Willingness to travel to site (short stays may be required.)

We are looking for someone with exceptional written and verbal communication skills who is able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work efficiently in an autonomous environment as well as contributing as part of the wider Buildings + Places and AECOM team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management (or equivalent) – essential;

• Membership and professional accreditation of AIPM (or working towards obtaining) – highly regarded

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite – essential;

• Current Driver’s Licence – essential.
