Job Summary

AECOM’s Darwin office is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to lead their Civil Infrastructure team and further develop their experience in leading and delivering moderate to large projects. The role will involve both preconstruction and construction services, operating within market sectors including Roads/Highways, Water, Urban Development and Defence.

This newly created position offers excellent career growth potential and provides an opportunity for you to play an instrumental role in the growth of AECOM’s footprint in the Northern Territory. Using your strong client-focus and developed networks, you will lead teams to deliver timely, accurate and high quality project outputs. Key components of the role include technical Civil Engineering activities, actively identifying business opportunities for extending existing contracts and developing new service offerings, leading project teams, and mentoring staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Civil Infrastructure projects;

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience, preferably within an engineering consulting environment;

  • Previous experience in transport infrastructure delivery will be highly regarded, as will local NT knowledge/experience;

  • Experience leading high performing, multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications are a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), with existing CPEng accreditation (or eligibility to obtain this accreditation).
