We are seeking a creative, highly talented Interior Designer for immediate employment in the Dallas, TX office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Developing interior design solutions for a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Working under general supervision
Independently determining and developing approaches to solutions
Planning, designing and making furnishing selections for interiors of commercial projects
Preparing designs which are practical, aesthetic and conducive to the intended work environment
Preparing the following: designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings
Developing details and editing specifications under general supervision of a project manager or project architect to meet project specifications
Supporting a senior interior designer or architect in executing others designs and vision
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
3+ years of related experience
Intermediate design and production skills
Knowledgeable about project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principals
Working knowledge of the following design production techniques: Revit, AutoCAD, 3D computer modeling, graphic design and word processing
Effective communication skills required
Ability to work in team environment
Experience working in a Corporate workplace
Working knowledge of all phases and aspects of a project
Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience a plus
