About the Business Line
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.
THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM
DUTIES: Perform engineering duties in planning, designing hydrologic or hydraulic projects. Maintenance of building structures and facilities; serve FEMA Region VI as part a member of the Regional Service Center. Serve FEMA Region VI and FEMA Headquarters as a levee expert. Implement various phases of the Risk Mapping, Assessment, and Planning (MAP) program. Work with Hydrology and Hydraulic modeling.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept Master's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field; and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include: Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM); FEMA experience (Map Modernization and/or Risk MAP); Hydrologic Modeling; Hydraulic Modeling; and Levee Safety.
