Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Systems Engineer for our Dahlgren, VA location. T

Position will perform engineering tasks supporting Tomahawk Weapon System engineering and design for NAVAIR. Additional responsibilities are as follows:

  • Support development, analysis, and traceability of Tomahawk Tactical Weapon Control System (TTWCS) requirements. Utilize Dynamic Object Oriented Repository System (DOORS) to trace, manage, and perform routine updates to requirements. Develop and maintain DXL and Excel macros and other tools for gathering requirements metrics to support analysis.

  • Develop and review technical documentation to include system specifications, interface changes, performance specifications, technical instructions, and job instruction.

  • Author, analyze, and update System Change Requests (SCRs) and ensure timely deliveries of System Change Notices (SCNs) to development teams. Utilize the Software Information Management System (SWIMS) toolset for change management.

  • Write, manage, and archive Interface Change Notices (ICNs) and update the External Interface Interdependency Matrix (EIIM).

  • Participate in internal and external technical interface and working group meetings. Provide recommendations, develop tools, and implement updates to the system engineering requirements development process.

-Participate in development reviews by supporting candidate change package development, review and comment, and document results.

Minimum Requirements

A Bachelor’s of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. 7 years of job related experience or equivalent.
