Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Senior Programmer to Lead the Dahlgren Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) Team. The selectee will manage and lead requirements definition, design, code development, testing, troubleshooting, system security, and documentation for various KMS/web portals.

Selectee will have direct customer interface and communication to develop and present requirements, designs, and demonstrations/training on new applications.

Selectee will provide technical management and leadership to the KMS team for tasking with overall responsibility for cost, schedule, technical and employee performance.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

Excellent communications and analytical skills.

Demonstrated working knowledge and extensive experience in programming languages, databases and web servers, hardware configurations and integrated software applications (i.e., C, C++, .NET, PHP, JAVA, jQuery, SQL, CSS, HTML5, XHTML, XML, Access, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows Server, Windows, Apache, and IIS, etc.)

Demonstrated working knowledge in the development of Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) packages, application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and software patches.

Current SECRET Security Clearance with SSBI.

DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 and IT Level 1 certified.

Thorough knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Access, etc.

Ability to work independently, and in a team environment.

Ability to handle multiple tasks.
