AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Dahlgren, VA location. This position will perform Engineering tasks as a Systems Engineer for Information Technology (IT) Standards Development is to provide Marine Corps Acquisition programs with end-to-end Interoperability and Supportability support in fulfilling Department of Defense directives and complying with Milestone Decisions requirements.
A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. Ten (10) years professional technical experience or equivalent. Six (6) years specialized experience in the areas of either weapons manned or unmanned, robotic, or weapon control system concept definition, design, integration, and engineering. Specialized experience shall also include experience as a mechanical engineer performing mechanical engineering analysis and design, mechanical engineering software tools, coordinating mechanical fabrication, and mechanical engineering test techniques. Position may require travel. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
