Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in Corpus Christi, TX.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Senior project manager with refinery remediation experience

  • Coordinate with refinery staff regarding various activities

  • Organize teams, develop proposals for new task orders, assign work elements to qualified staff and monitor and review technical progress of these projects.

  • Manage AECOM staff on-site completing assigned tasks

  • Take the lead on report completion, and interacting with TCEQ.

  • The candidate will be supported by other staff in Texas to assist with reporting (and data validation)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, geology, or environmental sciences

  • Experience with various refinery related environmental areas (i.e. TPDES, RCRA, LNAPL management, etc.)

  • 5+ years’ experience managing environmental projects

  • Excellent technical/report writing skills

  • Experience managing staff and technical teams

  • Experience with preparation of scopes of work, project budgeting, scheduling, and business/development

  • Experience with proposal development, client interactions and established client relations

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a refinery setting preferable

  • TWIC Credential and Basic Plus Training
