About the Business Line


We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.

Job Summary

AECOM seeks to expand our South Florida Water Business by making a key strategic hire of an exceptional person. The Senior Project / Client Manager will be working closely and in concert with the clients, will be instrumental to the successful development, implementation and delivery of various programs and will be responsible for driving the growth of AECOM’s services along with the delivery of high quality margin from projects within the Water business line in the South Florida area

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Selling potable water and wastewater consulting services to water and wastewater utility client

  • Overseeing multi-disciplinary design of various water and wastewater systems

  • Project execution and financial management

  • Staff mentoring and supervision

  • Client and contract management

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Civil or Environmental Engineer

  • 10+ years of engineering consulting experience

  • Selling potable water and wastewater consulting services to local utilities;

  • Project and client service management;

  • Potable water or wastewater process design or conveyance design

  • Proven track record of selling consulting engineering services to a diverse group of local, county, and regional potable water/wastewater utilities similar in size and technical characteristics to those found in the South Florida area

  • Client focused service perspective is a must

  • Possession of an active Florida Professional Engineer license

  • Successful project management experience

  • Master's degree
