Position Title Transportation Planner - Travel Demand Modeler / Analyst

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Transportation Planner - Modeler / Analyst for immediate employment in the Conshohocken, PA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Develop traffic networks and perform planning analysis medium multi-modal networks using transportation planning/engineering software (one or more of the following travel forecasting software's; TransCAD, CUBE/Voyager, EMME, and VISUM)
Develop and implement scripting for traffic software packages to enhance input, output and support results
Analyze data sets for traffic, household survey and census
Perform validation and calibration of travel demand models
Analyze and assess travel demand model results and prepare tables/graphics/plots of results for presentations and reports
Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, Urban Planning or related field
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Must have significant experience and thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and objectives of transportation planning, specifically the 4-Step process of travel demand modeling and or Activity Based Models
Must be able to program in languages such as Python, JAVA, C++ and VBA
Must be able to develop documents in MS Office with working knowledge of MS Access database and GIS
Position requires strong statistical analysis skills for data preparation and interpretation of travel forecasts
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required
Must be able to prepare written reports and presentations of project findings
