Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Manager, Staff Optimization for immediate employment for the New York, NY office. The Manager, Staff Optimization with be responsible for optimizing staff to achieve target utilization, maximum profitability and client satisfaction. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Work with Regional Executives, Area Managers, Business Unit Leaders and Business Line Executives to understand staff requirements

  • Reconcile stated needs of leadership with Salesforce data

  • Work with Salesforce pursuit managers to improve Salesforce accuracy

  • Develop accurate and live plans based contracted work, awarded not booked and pipeline data on sales forces data

  • Work with Operations and HR to drive necessary hiring, transfers, downsizing

  • Balance staffing within the region, between areas, and facilitate balance between regions

  • Develop/Maintain reports that capture hiring efficiency (open requisition duration, etc.)

  • Work with operational leadership to identify hiring / termination outlook

Metrics: Utilization, Profit, NPS, Hiring time (open requisition duration), net hires, DPE, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent

  • 8+ years experience, of which 5+ years are in a management role

  • Business leader with strong operations background

  • Demonstrated collaborative behaviors

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
