AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural EIT for employment in the Columbus, OH office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer:
Perform structural analysis and design
Coordinate work with other design disciplines and prepare contract documents
Author structural reports, assessments, and studies
Develop project management experience such as scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, etc.
Responsible for assisting more experienced staff with the design of major building projects across the United States (projects to have construction costs of up to $750M)
Potential projects come from a wide variety of industry sectors including healthcare, aviation, industrial, parking structures, and higher education
Structural engineer will work collaboratively with more experienced engineers on large projects while developing the skills to lead/work independently on smaller structural design projects
Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or other related field required
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Master of Science (with Structural Engineering concentration)
