Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Civil Engineer for immediate employment in the Columbus office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist Project Managers/Client Managers in preparation of various documents

  • Prepare presentations, meeting record documents, financial project management tools associated with assisting project managers and client managers

  • Participate in marketing efforts and business development activities

  • Assist project managers and client managers in interaction with client to gather information and discuss project requirements

  • Assist project managers in development of documents, reports, calculations, spreadsheets and other related information in support of project deliverable development activities

  • Candidate may perform limited ACAD activities

  • Assist client managers and other regional and national marketing staff with client research and strategic planning activities

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related field

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Fluent with various word processing programs and spreadsheet development

  • Valid Driver License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of renewable and non-renewable power transmission

  • Familiar with energy efficiency programs in the State of Ohio

  • Experience with internet of things (IoT) and smart technology

  • Strong data mining skills
