AECOM is seeking a Crew Foreman to be based at Kearl Oilsands, Alberta location.
This position will acts as a working supervisor, provide coordination and supervision the Maintenance Pipeline crew.
May include the following responsibilities:
Implement company’s Safety Management System in all activities.
Ensure that safety is the #1 priority in all activities.
Obtain all permits, conduct pre-job meetings and ensure that task hazard assessments are performed for all tasks.
Perform vehicle/equipment audits, inspect 3rd party equipment and perform regular site inspections.
Report all incidents and/or job concerns to the field coordinator immediately.
Demonstrate leadership by participating fully in such things as job observations and High-intensity discharge (HID) reporting and follow-up, monthly attests, site inspections, incident investigations, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings.
Work closely with Dispatch to plan, organize, direct and control of all activities related to the site management of company and sub-contract personnel.
Identify and mitigate safety hazards.
Communicate and document work progress, schedule, budget variance and employee safety performance.
Liaise with the client to proactively address scope changes and/or concerns with quality of work.
Act as a coach/mentor to employees for technical and/or resource utilization.
Ensure that all employees and sub-contractors have the required training for the work being performed.
Ensure that all work procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) are current and are utilized.
Ensure that all paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner (work tickets, detailed job and cost reports, efficiency loss reports, change orders, etc.)
Perform a final inspection with the client representative before rigging out from the work site.
Ensure that a post job cleanup is done and that all rental equipment is returned as soon as the job is completed.
Camp accommodations are available for this position.
This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.

High school diploma is required. Training and professional development from an accredited industry association.
A comprehensive knowledge of industry safe work standards and quality control is essential.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience as a tradesman or equipment operator in an industrial or commercial work environment is required;
A valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are requirements of this position
First Aid - Standard Level Certification Required.
Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) Certification required
Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA issued ticket) Certification required
A post secondary diploma or degree from an accredited college, university or technical school, or journeyman certification in a relevant trade, or a Class 1A or 3A license would be considered an asset.
Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) is an asset.
Previous supervisory experience would be a asset.
