Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Job Summary

AECOM has an opening for an Archaeologist in our Cincinnati, Ohio operation. This is a part-time position. Makes recommendations on work methods and procedures and technical innovations by devising practical and economical solutions to problems in own discipline. Makes recommendations on research requests, objectives, priorities, and timing. Assess need for change and recommends development of standards. Assess work against standards, objectives and specifications. Utilizes advanced scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies when working on unusually complex technical problems. Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance. Develops solutions which are highly innovative. Assignments are often self-initiated. Acts as advisor to management and clients. Oversees the work of less experienced scientists.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Business Development - Regional and National BD for the Midstream market and O&G Business Line. Work with practice leadership to market related services for the region and nationally.

  • Technical Practice - Provide technical support to the local, regional and national practice. The technical role will include reporting and senior technical review for pipeline and other projects currently on-going or developed in the future. Specific functions include the following.

  • Contribute to report sections for SHPO and FERC documents

  • Provide senior technical review for project documents

  • Ensure technical compliance with both Section 106 and FERC guidelines

  • Keep Cincinnati CRM Group, and AECOM CRM overall, apprised of changes in regulations, guidance from agencies and how to implement these changes

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10+ years experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree preferred but not required
