Job Summary

AECOM , a Fortune 500 Company, is seeking a Graphic Artist to join our proposal operations team located in Chantilly, Virginia. The position reports directly to the Director of Proposals. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with proposal teams in a fast paced environment to create and revise proposal and communications graphics.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Creation, develop and refinement of accurate andvisually appealinggraphics including flow charts, organizational charts, pictures, tables , posters , covers, etc. based on concepts and input from the proposal team

2.Identification and interpretation of RFP requirements as it relates to proposal layout and graphics

3.Prioritizing workload to meet deadlines

4.Coordinating with multiple proposal efforts and other graphic artists to meet graphic requirements

5.Assists with desktop publishing and production activities

  1. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent

  • Must have at least 10 years of experience working as a graphic artist and/or desktop publisher preferable in a federal proposal and/or business development environment.

  • Must be highly proficient in the use of graphics related software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, Photoshop, - Microsoft Word, and other publishing software

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to conceptualize graphics based on verbal and written directions

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Some travel required

Preferred Qualifications

A security clearance is a plus.
