Position Title Office Administrator
Australia - Australian Capital Territory
In this role, you will work closely with the Area Manager to lead the Canberra support services team and within delegated authority, provide supervision and direction to staff in the office. This is a key role to ensure the smooth and effective operations of the office, whilst promoting a harmonious working culture through effective communications.
The roles and responsibilities of this position are varied and broad and encompass all administrative operational aspects of the Canberra business. There may be also sharing of responsibilities across the office administrative team. Some of your key duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to;
Providing executive support to the Area Manager including diary and communication management, coordinating travel and expense requirements
Coordinating and preparing for weekly and month Leadership meetings
Assist with office support activities including implementation of improvised office procedures, rotational reception relief, reporting, coordinate training, events, office social activities etc.
Work closely with the Delivery Assurance Team to provide Quality and Project Review support including representing Canberra in monthly meeting and communicate updates to Area Manager
Managing and control the procurement of office supplies, suppliers, equipment and infrastructure
Coordinate and deliver the Canberra annual awards program
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar office administration role (preferred)
Formal administration qualifications highly regarded
High energy personality with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at a fast pace
Experience in handling high confidentiality information
Experience in implementing new procedures
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Packages
