Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to work closely with the Area Manager in our Canberra office. You will work on a broad range of tasks and play a key role in the effective and smooth operation of the Canberra office. This role will have you liaising with a variety of people including Corporate Executives and Support Teams. Duties include:

  • Plan and manage Area Manager diary, emails and travel

  • Plan and coordinate leadership meetings, group forums, corporate and office events

  • Work closely with Corporate Teams to facilitate corporate programs

  • Develop and review high level documents such as the internal government newsletter

  • Assist the Area Manager to manage office operations

  • Work closely with the HR Partners to communicate people movement and updates to employees

  • Coordinate weekly and monthly financial reports with Regional Finance and Operations Manager

  • Provide administrative support and collaborate with support team to deliver outcomes at a local level

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar role (preferred)

  • Exceptional high level communication skills

  • Impeccable time management, organisational and multi-tasking ability

  • Experience in implementing new procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal administration qualifications will be highly regarded
