Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Field Service Representative to provide acquisition and sustainment support to Marine Corps Systems Command. Responsibilities may include:

  • Travel to USMC Reserve locations, Camp Pendleton, Camp Lejeune, Okinawa and Quantico.

  • Instruct key maintenance personnel with respect to operation, maintenance, repair, and parts supply.

  • Analysis and technical assistance in failure diagnosis/troubleshooting and repairs

  • Analysis of organizational and field level of maintenance

  • Inspections to determine maintenance trends.

  • Analysis of engineering changes/retrofits

  • Support during training exercises and deployment training.

  • Research and analyze warranty repair issues.

  • Provide guidance in the installation of SL-3 Government Furnished Equipment

  • Provide a monthly report

Minimum Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical school, Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Additional related experience may be substituted for education.

  • Experience with tactical vehicles.

  • Position will require travel.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Candidates are required to provide their personally owned general mechanics tool kit, cordless impact and drill, and grinder.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills and strong verbal and interpersonal skills as daily interaction with government customers will be required.

  • Understanding of military systems logistics and fielding processes.

  • Self-starter who can work well independently with minimal supervision and broad direction.
