About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. AECOM is now hiring a qualified Aircraft Electrician II in support of Aircraft maintenance operations at Camp Humphreys, Korea location.
Workload Description Modification Team: Installing BFT-2 and ARC-231 mwo's and demoding aircrat with ARC-117
Personnel must be familiar with these mwos and ULLS-AE Aircraft Logbooks, MWO workbooks and preferrably have prior install experience.
The Aircraft Mechanic, electrician, applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy. This individual must have an aviation background comparable to an Aircraft Mechanic I, but should have an electronics specialty. These individuals will read blueprints, build wire bundles, install wire bundles, use electronic test equipment, prepare aircraft for flight line inspection, trouble shoot aircraft electronics, and determine courses of action regarding troubleshooting procedures. This position is not limited to common wiring practices but also the ability to test instruments, maintain onboard circuitry and fabrication of electronic components as necessary.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience: 5 years required, 7 years preferred actual and recent depot/phase level aircraft maintenance/modification as well as unscheduled maintenance experience is required.
Prior experience with U.S. Army various field level and limited sustainement level maintenance on US Army Helicopters highly preferred.
Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks is mandatory.
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.
Must meet all USFK, CCK, therater clearance and SOFA status requirements USFK-700-19.
Must have a valid minimum of a NACI clearance on file in JPAS.
May be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check.
