URS/AECOM has an opening for a Quality Control Inspector Lead (Fires and Sustainment) in Qatar.
Provides quality control inspection as well as performs work in the occupational area for which the inspector has several years of experience. This could be for occupational areas such as mechanics, maintenance, and repairs, material handling, and automotive transportation/ mobile equipment and armament systems. May involve inspection of various repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, machinery, maintenance, or tractors. Performs work and guidance involving most of the following: Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts. Fires and Sustainment Inspector performs initial, in-process, and final inspections on equipment submitted for repair or services to verify all maintenance actions are accomplished, work agrees with work task included on work request are IAW applicable TMs and TBs.
Trains junior inspectors on maintenance system, procedures, and customer relations techniques, Issues written and oral instructions, and maintains harmony among workers.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of experience related to vehicle maintenance, maintenance, or area of expertise.
Master Mechanic equivalent and strong technical background with past QC experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Level III English.
