About the Business Line
AECOM’s Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
URS/AECOM has an opening for an Assistant Supply Manager in Kuwait.
The Asst. Supply Manager (APS/TSS) will be responsible for supply operations under this effort. Essential Responsibilities: Directs and coordinates the overall supply operation for the project. Manage supply staff and resources. Oversee the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) support of supply functions. Monitor production for compliance with scheduling directives, cost factors, and other applicable standards. Develop appropriate standard operating procedures and performance standards. Track inventory, requisitioning and disposals (turn-ins). Ensure facilities operate in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring stated goals and customer requirements are met. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Calculates such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, and amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.
Must have a broad base knowledge of the task below:
• Generate and format spreadsheets using Excel
• Updates all information pertaining to equipment in system
• Inventory/Tracking of equipment by using PDA Scanner
• Printing labels/applying labels to equipment
• Updating all secondary load information
• Linking/Moving equipment within the database
• Assign UICs to equipment
• Research and reconcile databases
• Utilize import utility modules
• Generate and execute queries
• IK configuration data input to basic data base
• Produce draft and final hand receipts
• Update BII/SKO module
• Generate ECR 2408-9 in LOGSA database. Use Service module in AWRDS database
• Scan and download data from scanners
• Train other employees in basic AWRDS data skills.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
A comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures related to supply.A comprehensive knowledge of the Logistics STAMIS in use.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
U.S. citizenship required.
May require a SECRET security clearance.
